The dial is based on the W 112 model 300.
Also, the hands are designed in the colors of the rotating roller. The hour hand in yellow for under 50 km/h, the minute hand in red for over 50 km/h and the 50 km/h area is the yellow/red striped disc in the middle.
This gives the dial a very authentic appearance.
